Marks.fitness is a website dedicated to Calisthenics. The world of body weight training can seem overwhelming and full of insurmountable challenges. Muscle-ups, planches and handstand press-ups may seem to the beginner to be the preserve of the elite athlete. Someone who is gifted with strength. I aim to break down these techniques and explain them at the base level. I am no former gymnast nor supplement enhanced bodybuilder, but a regular guy with an analytical mind. I aim to explain techniques and the nuanced details of movements for aspiring fitness enthusiasts.
I am to cater for all levels of from total beginner to someone higher level who may need a little guidance to refine their technique. I am a qualified personal trainer and I have learnt calisthenics through a combination of bearing witness to people who are at the top of the game and through my own personal experience.
One thing that has struck me is different people struggle or thrive in different aspects of body weight exercise. Through my endeavours I aim to offer practical advice and guidance to help people achieve their exercise goals.
